Microsoft offers discounts

To increase the market share of Windows 7, Microsoft is aiming SMBs clients by providing the new OS and the Office 2007 productivity suite up gradation at half off the suggested retail pricing. However, to avail the offer, customers have to be a part of Microsoft's Open Value Subscription (OVS) program and presently using one of the listed prior versions of those products.

Further, the company is continuously working on free diagnostics programs on its Web site to check for computer compatibility for people using Windows Vista and XP.
